Is your Internet really worth it?

You have a choice before you! Would you give up the Internet for the rest of your life OR would you have it if it meant you had to use Windows with no updates and no security programs?

No internet or an internet without any security?
I would go with the latter but in time Windows would be near unusable, filled with malware. I would tread very carefully.

the way i see it, its a bit pointless to have only one of teh two. without the internet, the only way to get infected is thru a medium such as a CD, usb drive etc... and without security Windows can but may not become infected. also what about linux? is that an option?

jUst run limited and delete the user when it's too corrupted/infected or just reformat.

Sorry Linux is NOT an option! We don't want to give you something more secure which would defeat the purpose of this poll. Lets hear some votes from the more frequen posters... All but one are regular or under such posters.

Well, I don't qualify as being one of the more frequent poster, but I do want to comment. I voted that I would give it up. I thought about just using it for simple surfing and not making any purchases on it or paying any bills, but I was thinking that even just using it to surf and search, there is so much hate and insanity out there that I don't think that it would be worth using the internet without any updates or any security programs. There are too many evil and malicious geniuses out who would be setting traps and trying to destroy and ruin your computer, just because they can. ::)

I enjoy the internet. I would use it as long as I could and then reevaluate my options and do it again
