Maybe I'm misunderstanding here. In the EMON module I have delete checked under Actions for all options, Files, Runtime Packers, Archives, Self-extracting archives. But when I check my email in Outlook 2003 I still get the red NOD warning box pop up asking what it should do about a email with a virus inside. I thought by checking delete I wouldn't be bothered. I would like NOD just to delete these emails in the background permantly.

Weren't these emails received prior to installing NOD32?

No sir ... NOD has been installed for a couple years and Outlook I just installed last week.

One more question - aren't these UUE archives with HQX extension containing the VB.BI worm? Support for this type of archives originating from Mac was added a couple of days ago so it could be the case.

I think you are missing my point. I would like NOD to delete these emails with viruses in the background without poping up a box asking me what I want NOD to do. I had already checked to delete in EMON and the box still poped up asking me what to do. :) Is this just concerning attachments?

In the title of the box, it is EMON or IMON which catch the threat ?

I was just trying to explain how these HQX attachments could get into your mailbox, bypassing EMON.

OK ... I think I see so I need to setup either imon or amon to delete this when it arrives?

Zashita: I will have to pay closer attention next time because I didn't see just assumed it was EMON doing it's thing.

IMON will catch first the theats incoming by POP3 mail account, before they reach your mailbox. EMON will be able to scan only when the mail comes in your box.
I think that IMON detects the threats. But without a screen capture, I can't be sure ;)
