log files and quarantine problem

recently I found that event, threat logs and quarantine folder are empty. also the remained empty when tested against(eicar site). any help. thank you

I'm trying to uninstall/reinstall to rectify the problem. I read here that there is a 2.50.45 version, but on the download only v2.50.25 is available. Also, I know v2.51.20 is for 64bit and can be used on 32bit but is there any gain over v2.50.25 on using it on 32bit.

I'm not sure, but could it be ccleaner. the folder "logs" was absent from C:/program files/eset. problem solved by reinstalation.
