Hey please come on now, So many false-positives just this last week from nod32 woow man. I mean also on the XP-cd and all the people that have complaining here in this wilderssecurity forum, and to send to them the samples because the user or me want to know because maybe it is a important program or file, must maybe wait 2-3 days or 2-3 weeks depend's...
I mean soon will people remove nod32 and trying to test some other good AntiVirus.. No bashing on nod32, because i used it myself, but come an now, dont say that other AV also shows false-positive or something, we are just speaking about nod32... Never seen/heard so much false-positive after they Upgrade the Heuristic...
Bye nod32 for ever, sorry but i cant i will not use a antivirus that shows so many false-positive, and its boring to wait for an answer from them it can take days/weeks....
Right now i am using Kaspersky, and backup Dr.Web

{QUOTE-> get over it... no AV is perfect, and with so many improvements in a short time, FPs are inevitable - are they catastrophics? No - lack of detection of a REAL threat might be though... if you feel FPs determing your AV choice, then I honestly think you have your AV priorities upside down... but it's your choice - and at the end of the day, you'll not hold back the NOD32 progress... <-QUOTE}

Oh this will beat the record... You Nod32-fans are so funny =)
For the first: I did not say, i have not try or will not try to hold back the Nod32 progress... I dont care what they/you do. Where do you see that i am wrote that i am trying to hold back the NOD-progress??? I just said what i liked about it and their false-positive... Cant people say what they like, then Ok?!
And for the second: everytime and i mean everytime we are speaking about Nod32, a word with "other AV" must show up, that is so pathetic!!!
And you exaggerate everything i wrote....
Sorry but i really think you Nod32-fans exaggerate everything, it make me sick.
Good Bye and Good Luck with all your Nod32-progress, i dont care. If i feel better to have Kaspersky and Dr.Web then thats my choise, and i am not trying to stop any progress or hating nod-fans or whatever you think.
Bye...

Everyone, as some of you may have already suspected, though not all of you realize, the "trolling" that Marcos had referred to in a previously closed thread (http://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=116219) was not gue_st's post, or even the topic of that discussion. It was the last guest post made just prior to Marcos' closing. That is the same person many of you have reported to us as a repeat spammer (for Bitdefender and his "Bitdefender support forum"), and he also trolls here to try to steer people away from NOD32 since we won't allow links to his forum here.

He has made many of the negative and/or bashing posts (or claims that Eset or others were doing the bashing), in order to support his own agenda and make it look like he was many people all agreeing with each other. This is an old tactic for trolls and spammers, as many of you know. Most of you probably recognize his posting style and overall approach, since he's been posting that way for a number of weeks now.

He will take every opportunity to use a thread(s) to further his own agenda, taking the thread(s) off-topic in the process, mention other A/V's he's using, all to add to the confusion so the original support question is lost. Unfortunately, we've seen it all before, and it isn't always possible to remove those posts before they get replied to, as sometimes people do "feed the trolls". I'm sorry it happens, but it's the way things are sometimes with some posters on forums.

Further posts by this guest will now be removed without further notice.
