Tonight, immediately after doing a definition update on spybot and immunizing, a window from anti-spy came up to ask if I wanted to allow hypermart.net to my trusted zones. This was while spybots page was still on my screen. Any connection between the definition download and the msas question?

I Ran Spybot-Search & Destroy download of new Definitions
on 20 January ,and immediately after completing, I received an Alert from my Microsoft AntiSpyware that "Hypermart.net" required approval to enter my trusted zone.
So I immediately went over to my other XP computer and the Exact Same scenario occurred
Strange don't you think?

I just noticed your post.
I also posted , but only a couple of minutes ago,
the exact same strange occurrence on both my XP computers within the last hour.

{QUOTE-> I also posted , but only a couple of minutes ago, <-QUOTE}Hope you don't mind but I have now merged both threads.
This particular problem has been going on for awhile and even tho the URL varies the ultimate False alert from MSAS is still a known issue by Microsoft.
You may receive an "Internet Explorer trusted site requires approval" message from Windows AntiSpyware (Beta) if you also use the Immunize feature in Spybot Search & Destroy (http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=902956)

CAUSE
The Immunize feature in Spybot Search & Destroy adds certain Web sites to the restricted sites zone in Microsoft Internet Explorer.
This problem is caused by a known issue in Windows AntiSpyware (Beta) that involves real-time monitoring of the sites in the trusted sites zone and in the restricted sites zone. The real-time monitoring does not distinguish between additions to the restricted sites zone and additions to the trusted sites zone. <-QUOTE}

Thanks Jonpaul for the screeshot, I have manually entered it in the resticted zone now. Why do some people get this problem and not others I wonder.

{QUOTE-> Updated Spybot. No alert whatsoever from MSAS. <-QUOTE}Without assuming wrongly....does that imply you also Immunized after the latest update ?

I chose "safer networking 1" as my download site, could this be something in common?

Hi,
I downloaded from SN 1. Besides, the file should be the same, regardless of the download location.
