I'm going to be doing a computer cleanup booth at a local education fundraiser fair next month, and would like some input as to the best way to proceed with some things.

There are going to be two portions to the booth, each one for a donation of at least $10. One portion will be for physical cleanup, things such as getting dust bunnies out of heatsinks and cleaning out grunge. The other portion deals with software, and that's where it gets sticky.

I have enough monitors, keyboards, mice, and helpers to defang and lock down around four computers an hour. I was planning on putting together a CD full of various freeware tools (several options of antivirus, antispyware, etc) that the customers could take home with them after the event. I'm even going to show them how to install and use the software, so they can help their friends and family.

I already have a sign saying "You are paying for my time and personal materials, not the software. All tools used are freeware and widely available." Are there any other grounds that I need to cover, any other little bit of legal Cover-your-arse I need to take care of? Also, any ideas on what can make this a memorable gee-whiz-what-a-concept! event beyond what I already have planned? Thanks for your help!
