I've been using WinPatrol 8.1.1.6 for quite awhile, is their a reason to update, like is it better at detecting, or is it more commercial less features? spill the beans!

you should absolutley update WinPatrol as the newer versions do have quite a few enhancements. It is well worth it.

{QUOTE-> ok.. i'll take ur word for it.. one more thing.. is it still low on resources? right now WP is about 3,000,000+ KB's.. Will see. <-QUOTE}WP doesn't use much memory, but its cpu usage can peak very high at times. This mainly occurs when I am opening & closing a series of programs. It tends to compete for cpu cycles with Explorer at such times.
WP activates every time a file opens or closes, so if you are a *busy* computer user (as I am, when maintaining my websites & simultaneously processing messages) then WP can slow you down a bit.
