Just a quick question, with so many reg cleaners on the market now..which ones do people here consider TOP Notch? Aside from JV power tools which i think just about everybody seems to like what other programs are good for reg cleaning?

Thanks,
J

Hey Jonas.

The two that I like are Ace Utilities and RegSeeker.

RegSeeker is free and does a thorough job finding traces of uninstalled programs.
It allows for easy use of RegEdit to look at entries.

Ace Utilities is payware($29/lifetime license)
The registry cleaner is my favorite.
It has a lot of tools.Scans fast too!

RegSeeker :

RegSeeker is a perfect companion for your Windows registry !
RegSeeker includes a powerful registry cleaner and can display various informations like your startup entries, several histories (even index.dat files), installed applications and much more ! With RegSeeker you can search for any item inside your registry, export/delete the results, open them in the registry. RegSeeker also includes a tweaks panel to optimize your OS !

RegSeeker is FREE for personal use only !

With JV no longer free, RegSeeker is IMHO the *primo freebie* reg cleaner right now.

As to a paid product, I think Reg FirstAid ($21) is a 12 on the 10-scale. :)

URL for Reg FirstAid is...
