{QUOTE-> I dunno if this is a virus or something, but i need help.

Someone sent me a link to some file... and i downloaded it and at first it didn't seem to do anything, but out of no where every time i sent someone a message or just opened their aim box it would AUTOMATICALLY sent this message or some variation: "Sweet, click URL removed"

or something like that. The site doesn't seem to work anymore. maybe tis flooded by all the people it managed to spam and annoy. I dunno. can you guys help me out? every time i sepak to someone new this happens. Please help. <-QUOTE}

Hi MakuFusion,

Could you post your HijackThis log (http://www.tomcoyote.org/hjt/)
Download, Unzip and run HijackThis, Then click Scan > Save log, save the log as a .txt file and copy & paste its content into your next post.
Don´t fix anything yet. Most of what it finds is harmless.

Regards,

Pieter

Hey what's up, I just encountered this thing this morning, due to the directions from http://securityresponse.symantec.com/avcenter/venc/data/w32.aplore@mm.html I checked my registry, and it says that you can check your registry, I didn't see %SYSTEM%\Explorer.exe in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run in my registry. Any suggestions?
