I am running WIN98SE. As bizarre as it sounds Amon and IMON uninstalled themselves today after a reboot. I have password protection too. Reinstalled it just fine. But strange how NOD32 could still work and did not get uninstalled at same time as AMON and IMON.

I have been having tons of problems with my Netscrape 4.79- POP3 mail client, as incoming mail worked just fine but no emails could be sent.

Thought it was an IMON issue then an ISP issue, not sure. Back to even steven now. All quiet on western front. thank goodness too....

Hi Zappa,

It's worth taking a look at this thread and the specific tool mentioned there:

regarding your email checking.

Let me know,

rgds,
Martin

Thanks Martin,

I saw that fix prior to my post. That fix is for XP not Win98 though. Since it does not say it can be used for Win98 I did not attempt to use it.

I did not find a Win98 fix in next level either.
