How do I get rid of the se4_LNS.... driver and the looknstop entries in the registry? I can't seem to uninstall the driver and the registry won't let me delete the relevant entries.
Thanks in advance, G

Why do you want the name & location of the drivers ?
To uninstall Look 'n' Stop, simply run the uninstall icon from the Start menu, or open the control panel and select add/remove programs.
This will remove the driver files.
Sometimes, the drivers are still referenced in the registry, thats why this procedure (http://www.looknstop.com/En/faq_problems.htm#driver_remove) is given, to remove these references.

Hi isamu :-)
To do in SAFE MODE (F8 function key at Windows xp startup...)
1- Start | Run | services.msc
check for the LNS service to be sure that it's not running.
You may stopped it there if needed...
(I guess no but It's a good idea to check before the next step)
2- Start | Run | Devmgmt.msc
Look for "Non Plug'n'Play drivers
at lnsfw1 right clic and choose uninstall
Reboot your PC.
Next time , to avoid such headache I suggest you to use TotalUninstall
to monitor the programs installation and make a total uninstallation if you want to removed it...
TUN v. 2.35 is the last free version (in english and other languages).
You can download it from this french web site:
http://www.gratilog.net/systeme1.htm
Hope this help. Let us know.

Hi Isamu :-)
In SAFE MODE with the registry editor:
delete lnsfw1 and LnSSvC
Return in the device manager and now try to removed the remaining stuff...
and reboot.
Tell me if this work or not.
