1....when I switched on this morning I found a file on my desktop called "%SystemDrive%....why? In it are several other files and I'm scared to delete it. I have done various Virus checks etc. etc. and I have no virus's at all.
2. Outlook Express is playing up. When I try to send or receive emails, it sticks as if there is a problem with my Server. I have spoken to Telewest who took me through various checks and it is not a Telewest related problem. Desc IE toolbar

I am now trying to check on the update site yet again and keep getting the following.....
"IE has experienced a problem and needs to close"
"The following addon was running when this problem occurred".
File toolbar.dll
Co.name (not verified) IE Toolbar
Desc. IE
I checked for Application Errors and Hangings yesterday with Event Viewer and there was a HUGE long list there for both! Thats not good.
I checked the File System for errors using System File Checker and there were no problems.
I plan to do a system restore in a minute but that is then the limit of what I know to do so I need some help. I have noticed a
