The SpywareBlaster software update crashes the application software (i.e. SpywareBlaster dialog frozen, (Not Responding – status message) and can’t terminated unless the system is rebooted.
s/w Version SpywareBlaster 351 – with January 01, 2006 database update.
Any idea how to correct the problem?

Hello,

Well, thank you for pointing me to the right direction.
Eventually, I did figure out the SpywareBlaster and Norton Firewall/Antivirus compatibility problem.
The machine’s (Windows XP) performance noticeably improved when Norton 2005 was disabled.
Since Norton’s expiration date is looming in the near future, I am thinking to switch to PCillin 2006. The PCillin reviews so far are positive. Any opinion, thought about PCillin?
