Hi everyone - brand new user just paid up, downloaded and installed today (from Melbourne, Australia). I'm reasonably experienced with this sort of stuff and finally got sick of Norton AV doing unmentionable things to my system. Rad the reviews and went for it. I've a simple question 0 when I first tried to update from my downloaded 1.43 virus sig I got a server error from www.nod32.com. I just opened up the dialogue box, chose another server (eisa?) and everything seemed to go well, upping me to 1.464, I think. Did I do right? Does it matter which server I go through? Is it the case that some of them are down sometimes?

Hi Steve,

Usually the default is used (www.nod32.com), if it is the case that this server is down, you can use (esetsoftware.com), both will give you the same updates, and yes 1464 is the latest, so no worries here, just try the default later, and welcome to this forum Steve.

rgds,
Martin

Thanks a lot fellas - I'm already impressed! Better and nicer support than Symantec already! ;)
