View Full Version : Copying Tasks

This may seem trivial, but is there any way to copy a task once it is complete so that, say, if I want to duplicate it except for, for instance, scheduling, I can without having to re-select all the files?

Hello Chuck,

Thank you for choosing Acronis Disk Backup Software (http://www.acronis.com/homecomputing/products/trueimage/).

You can schedule a task with the option Do not start automatically with Acronis True Image 9.0 and start that task when you prefer.

If you want us to change the behaviour of Acronis True Image in any way or add some new features to this product, please feel free to post any of your suggestions in Acronis True Image WISH-LIST thread (http://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=85595).

Thank you.

I think what the poster wants is the ability to create a task and then create a new task, with only minor changes, without the necessity of going through all the steps.
In other words, select a bunch of files to backup on Mondays and then copy that task to a new task that backs up on Tuesday without having to reselect all the files.
But that's just a guess ???

Hello Chuck,

Please accept my apologies for the delay with the response.

I'm also very sorry for Tatyana's reply. I believe she misunderstood your question.

I'm afraid that the current version of Acronis True Image 9.0 does not allow you to copy\duplicate the existing scheduled tasks.

You can find the detailed instructions on how to manage scheduled tasks in section 9.2 of Acronis True Image 9.0 User's Guide (http://www.acronis.com/homecomputing/download/docs/).

In case you want us to change the behaviour of Acronis True Image in any way or add some new features to this product, please feel free to post any of your suggestions in Acronis True Image WISH-LIST thread (http://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=85595).

If you have any further questions concerning Acronis software, please feel free to submit a request for technical support (http://www.acronis.com/homecomputing/support/) or report any of them on this forum. We will certainly try to help you in resolving any issues.

Thank you.
