when I try to download updates in spyware blaster

Hi,

Could you please post further details about your system?

For example:
-What version of Windows are you running?
-What anti-virus software are you running, if any?
-What firewall are you using, if any?
-What other anti-spyware software are you using, if any?
-What other security/privacy software are you using, if any?

Also, do you know how much RAM your computer has?

EDIT: At what stage does this error appear? Do files seem to be downloaded? Is it while it is verifying and loading protection? And can you please post a screenshot of the SpywareBlaster interface when that error appears?

I believe I'm just running Spybot and Spyware.
I don't think I have a firewall.

spybot

RAM - 256 MB

The error appears as soon as I click on the search for updates button and when I press the ok button it closes the spyware program. This is a new problem - I've had spyware for quite a long time before and update nearly daily without a problem.
