Does anyone use either one of these email clients? I'm looking in changing from OE.

Hi notageek,

My girlfriend uses Incredimail, so it is on my computer.
Very nice if you like frivolous emails with lots of extra's.
One option that I like very much is deleting hotmail on the server (only available in the paid version)
Personally I prefer TheBat!

Regards,

Pieter

You're welcome, notageek. :)
One thing I forgot to mention, and I don't know if that's an issue for you, but Incredimail is a resource hog if you have it running all the time.

Regards,

Pieter

I like Incredimail, but remember is sort of like a OE6 skin with some extra bells and whistles!!! (ie OE is required for Incredimail) I ur lookin to get away from OE for whatever reason ( crashes, b. gates, language support) look elsewhere. Fox mail seems to be getting a lot of 'press"!

I'm looking for a Mail client that isn't that bulky but after seeing Incredimail, it's a little to bulky for me. Thanks libbo

I used to use Foxmail but found it a little buggy at the time, The Bat! more than meets my needs at the moment.

I use Pegasus 4.12a and find that it meets all my needs. It's light, secure (with pgp), handles pop3 and Imap, allows selective downloads, has good filters and handles as many accounts as you can throw at it. It also integrates well with several good anti-spam programs. It's easy enough for my mother to use yet powerful for the power user.

Incredimail was too memory hungry for me and Foxmail just seemed too "lightweight" to me.

Thanks Gnostic but I seem to not be able to get the web page for Pegasus to work. Can you post a link? Maybe I'm trying the wrong page.

If you find these not to your liking you could always try mozilla 1.4 as that is not only a nice browser but the email client that comes with it is very nice as well.

Could someone help? I have tried to download Pegasus before. When I
click on the download link it opens my FTP Client. There are a lot of
FTP files. Do I need to down load them all or is there a specific file to
download?

Can you see this one listed: w32-412a.exe

That´s what Opera gets me when I click the download button.

Small and free: YAMC (http://www.borg-kindberg.ac.at/yamc/).

The Bat! is best non Outlook (only non-outlook?) when using PKI 509.3 certificates (like Thawte).

Notageek,

if you're still deciding, you might want to take a look at Pocomail, who just released a new version 3. Pretty powerful, fast, and support is good too! It's at:

http://www.pocomail.com/

I really do like The Bat! but its user interface could use an uplift.....

Lo Notageek, thats because you need to Import them from the mozilla mail client ie Tools > Import > mail /Addresses etc .
