Have you made any changes to your rule set?
Any other changes, software/hardware?

Sure,

Have installed many programs - non pirated, all legal.

Have ewido, Nod-32, spywareblaster, spysweeper, regdefend...so covered on that end.

Pretty sure i didnt change the ruleset.

Have installer ToR (onion router) and skype recently.

Have Windows SP2 fully patched???

First time this has happend in 3 years? cant figure out what i have done wrong.

Is there any way to get a copy of the original enhancedruleset from Fred?

Thanks

Is there something in the configuration of the above that may account for your test results? Is it even your true IP that is being tested?

Just uninstalled and reinstalled.

So started from scratch....

I think i worked out the issue:

I can go through 2 dial-up ISPs here. On the first GNC scan the port 80 is open, on the second the port is fully stealthed...which seems to concure with the official LnS site explanation of :

"- Your ISP (Internet Service Provider) applies "egress filtering". In this case, some ports are forbidden by your ISP. There is no way to solve this issue."

under the heading..."Some ports are "closed" and not "stealth" in a security test ?"

So...does that mean i am actually exposed or still relatively safe????

cheers

On the above i mean i installed and uninstalled LnS...not ToR or skype. I also just unistalled Skype to be sure.

I am pretty sure ToR has nothing to do with it. I required anther port number access not 80.....
