When I check under amon under file name its aways scanning my firewall but the # of files scanned goes up. Is it scanning the firewall over and over or different fiiles and just not listing it?

Hi,

You are correct.. Amon scans files EVERY time that they are accessed so every time your firewall gets accessed it'll scan it.. One way around it would be to add that file to your exclude list. When I used to use Talisman (a desktop replacement program) I had the same problems causing a massive slowdown, and as I've stated I added the culprate files to my Amon exclude list. Just remember to check them yourself using nod32 every so often (depending on how paranoid you are)

Hope this Helps

It's a know issue - and Eset is busy taking care of it ;)

For the record: not excluding will not harm your system and performance.
