Dutchies: do you know the English translation

My fellow Dutchies,
Do you know the English translation of the following Windows message:

Tijdens de initialisatie van apparaat IOS:
Beschermingsfout van Windows.
U dient de computer opnieuw op te starten.

I have been getting that message several times lately, during boot of my Windows 98 SE (Dutch) machine.

I think that I might have solved the problem for now by changing some settings.
But it might be easier for me to know the right Windows words in English, just in case it's going to happen again and in case I need then to have contact with some vendors.

How about this:

"During IOS intialization: Windows protection error. You must restart the computer."

Perhaps "IOS" is Input/Output System -- sounds like perhaps a file protection/permission conflict or error.

Singularly uninformative but that's my best shot. I'm afraid I'm not a Dutchie, maar mijn vrouw is van Belgie.;)
