Question on Blackspear's settings

I am connected via ethernet to a wireless modem/router and my daughter upstairs gets connected via a USB adapter. We do not share files, but should I use your share files settings? If so, then why?

if u dont share files then i dont think ull need those rules. also if its not broken, dont fix it.
