I am upgrading a few pc from 3.15 to 3.2 and wonder if I really have to go through the "normal" learning procedure again.
While I uninstalled the old version, after installation of 3.2 all my old protected programs still appear in the protected list. Can I just leave things as they are?

WSfuser - this only deals with how to remove the old version properly. Yes, I disabled protection, exited PG and then used the uninstall from rightclick program path (which according to another thread is still the best way to do it).

I raised another question a few days ago regarding registration number and Wayne already confirmed that the uninstall / reinstall should leave the rego details on your pc and this in fact happened to me. So I found no need to reregister the new version. Now I just question the need for a new learning as it seems redundant on my pc.

I did not upgrade my settings. I upgraded the program from 3.15 to 3.2.
This is being done by uninstalling the old program. However it appears that some data like registration data and protected programs are left behind.
What I would like to know is that this is intended behaviour and that consequently a 'new learning cycle" is unnecessary.
