Hi All,
Just a question on behalf of my partner. Last week, seemingly of it's own accord. She is now finding if she is away from the computer for a few minutes, the screen has gone to a sign in option, split into two.
On the left hand side it says "To Begin, Click Your User Name" and on the right hand side, the chess piece icon with her name below. The the left of the icon, it says "xxx Unread Mail Messages" and "5 Programs Running".
Along the bottom of the screen, in the left hand corner, there is a button marked "Turn Off Desktop" but when the cursor passes over, it changes to "Turn Off Computer".
In the bottom right hand corner it says, "After You Log On, You Can Add Or Change Accounts. Just Go To Control Panel and Click User Accounts"
By clicking on her name icon, the screen returns back to as it should be. Thing is, there is only one user name on the pc, and always has been. Can anyone suggest how to get back to normal on this please?
Any help would be really appreciated.
many thanks,
Terry :)
