Anyone Using pcIp because mine is not working. The last 18 hours!! I send e-mail to them but they keep getting Bounced back!

Me, i use PcIP quit working yesterday, no response to emails,
or to the ask the administrator on call options.

Hi Wake and my good friend Helix !
A BIG problem with pcIP is when , for whatever reason , there is a problem with the ISP in Michigan , they go down . Very sad indeed . Because it is a holiday weekend , you are not getting a response . That is ANOTHER big problem here . It should be monitored and emails should be answered ! The weird thing is , I can still pull up their site . Normally , their site would be down as well . I am unsure what is going on this time .
And , for the record : These guys have been great to me . BUT , their lack of support over the last few weeks is pissing me off . BIG TIME !! I have written to them a half dozen times at least , and no response . Not about this problem . Just different things I will not go into here . I pray they respond and say it is because of the holiday . Even so , they are wrong to be this way .
I love pcIP but , their support has turned to ^%$# !! This is very sad .
To answer again , I bet there is a problem with their ISP . It has happened before . More than a few times . Interestingly though , pcIP is showing up as running in task . I wonder if you guys might be using PG 3.2 ? That is when I lost them . Hmmmmm

Hi Hollywood, and Triple Helix

Check the pcIP forum there a few making the same complaint
about this program not working, so dont know if PG is at fault
here but now you mention it I did upgrade mine to the 3.2 but
pcIp was working fine after that upgrade, and again I have not
received any response to emails, or the ask admin on call query
box, so maybe is just their servers are down.

Hi Hollywood and Wake! ;D

I'm not using PG for awhile as I'm testing other Security Software at the moment it just seems that there server is down!!

We will have to wait till they come back from hoidays and get some Anwers for the lack of Support and Monitoring!!

Mine is back up and running again dunno what
happened this weekend with the pcIP downtime.

As of 2:50(EST) on boot up pcIp is not working again >:(

Can't even get to there website http://www.pcinternetpatrol.com/

Their website is not working for me either, I do not use their services anymore though.
http://authensys.com/ is up...
BTW I believe PCIP is out of Michigan.

Mines been down to, dont know whats been going on
with this program last two weekends, dont see any
post in their forum either to explain the downtime.

I wrote their email address and it got returned as no longer valid . Hmmmm . And when it WAS working , they answered me . They just started Authensys and now they disappear . Strange and I have about had enough . Triple .....right click the tray icon and see if you can write the admin on call . Let us know what happens . If that fails , to Hell with them . This is crazy . I do know that Authensys was supposed to be released LAST April or May . They just release it and everything turns to crap . Oh well . If they plan to stay around , they are going to REALLY have a hard time now . Sad . They were great with support for two years + . Great product too .

Did you ever get a response from them about
the reasons for all this downtime ?

In their forum, in response to a users inquiry
they said something about the pcIP servers are
being migrated to this new Authensys program,
but gave no more details.

That's what ticks me off, not One Reply from them in there weeks!! And their forums doesn't seem to be online for awhile now!!

I havent received any responses either, not to
emails, and not to the ask Adminstrator on call.

Their forum was up on friday, and I am guessing
their new Authensys program will be replacing pcIp,
I am however concerned about these lengthy weekend
downtimes, their failure to post any relevent information
about whats going in their forums, and their lack of
response to inquiries.

These guys are pathetic ! I have written to them many times without a peep from them . I used to stay in touch and ask a question about the future here and there but , them being down so often is one thing . NOT answering queries about the problems or even whether or not Authensys is to replace pcIP and at what cost . It has turned into a damn circus . They are truly nice people . They are . However , this kind of support , OR lack thereof , outrageous and quickly becoming unforgivable ! Already unforgivable for many who migrated to them in the last few months . Want to know how to ruin your business ? Make a security product that only works sometimes and not answer any questions on why the downtime or SIMPLE questions about differences in their programs . Hmmmm .

Emails to support are returned . Lol . This is funny . If they are not out of business , let us hope they will be soon . Product is frequently being disabled and no more support . Triple . I am truly sorry these guys have done this . Alot of money for such a pathetic group . They may have an answer about all of this but , too little , too late ! I am done . Avoid these $#@%^&*$ like the plague . Thankfully , I never had a technical question about a problem . Only more info . Oh well .
Kinda funny . They FINALLY introduce the long awaited Authensys and can no longer be contacted . It really was a great product .

After a third day of pcIP not working, I uninstalled it,
and downloaded the thirty day trial of this new Authensys
program which strangly enough is working.

This is a new version of pcIP, the white and black listing
features remain the same, added more prompts to it though,
the hacker tracker feature has been eliminated, the email
feature has been eliminated, the ask the administrator on
call feature has been eliminated, and the protect feature
is new preventing termination of programs.

Not sure what their requirements are for transferring a
existing pcIP license to this Authensys program, or if
you have to pay for it separate, and at this point I am
not sure if I will be keeping either of these programs.

Hi Wake2:

I did the same and removed pcIp and I will not use the Authensys program because I don't like it!! So really it's up to them if I install pcIp again because the lack of Support and Response to any E-mails!! Oh well my sub is up in Early March we will have to see!!

hi Triple Helix,

I was not at all impressed with Authensys either,
and uninstalled it, my subscription to pcIP is up
in March to, so guess will have to see where ISA
is going with all this and than make a decision.
