OS Selector cannot find XP on copied partition.... please help

I have a problem more members report, but didn't find a good answer so far.

I copied a C-partition with DDS 10 to a new partition E, on a Dell laptop with pre-installed XP. OS doesn't detect XP as a second OS. (I used the wizard several times, it does see the second partition but no OS).

What can I do???

It has been my experience that OSS will not "see" a copied OS partition.

The OS has to be installed as per the manual.
