View Full Version : Deleting Nugatory Backup Images

Hi

I am using TI9 (2323) and have used it to create incremental images of both my C and D drives over the past weeks, this was a single daily schedule saved into the Acronis Secure Zone. I have now opted to change the schedule to make an incremental image of my C drive and a single directory on my D drive (by amending the first schedule and generating a second for the backup of files on my D drive).

How can I now get rid of the initial image created by TI9 of my D drive (some 32 Gigs) in order to free up some space in the Acronis Secure Zone?

Any assistance greatly appreciated.

Hello Dave,

You will need to use the Manage Acronis Secure Zone Wizard to "Remove" the current Secure Zone and then create a new one. Of course, removing the SZ will delete all the images residing therein.

Many thanks for your advice, now completed. Re-generated the secure zone and currently backing up the C drive.

Strange that you have to undergo such a draconian measure to delete old backup files. Hey ho, thats life.
