View Full Version : NOD32 Unable to find NOD32.000 file

When I canning my computer with trial NOD32 ,an error occured "NOD32 Unable to find NOD32.000 file " ,I want to know what's the file NOD32.000 for ? and how to fix this problem ? Thank you .

Welcome to Wilders.
This is what I would try.
Uninstall NOD32 and restart your computer.
After restarting, go to program files, and delete the Eset folder. Then, reinstall NOD32 and restart your computer.
Go to the tray icon, update, update now and get an update.
Try a scan at that point.

I'm sorry to say that ,it's work when I reinstalled the NOD32 ,but after I update the signautre the same error appeared again ..strange .

MY OS was Windows XP sp2 ,and with the XP firewall .I have used Norton for a long time but I unintalled it before I install NOD32 .

Do the following files exist?
C Drive> Windows> Temp
C Drive> Documents and Settings> (User Name) XXXXXX> Local Settings> Temp

HI, Blackspear ,I have check those files ,and they all exist .I have reinstall the NOD32 bu no help .

Maybe a virus is deleting vital NOD32's files. Or maybe hard disk errors.
Try to run chkdsk /f or chkdsk /r from CMD.
Try to install NOD32 again and do a check in safe mode.

imo Blackspear meant that you should delete those files in the temp folders and then try again...

ok ,I have found out the reason .The temp folder was encrpt by somebody .that's why NOD32 come to an error .. Thank you for all .I really appreciate for the warm heart help of his forum .
