Hi Tiara,

From what I understand Partition Magic is one of the better utilities for your stated requirement's, maybe all you need is a tutorial (http://www.pcanswers.co.uk/tutorials/default.asp?pagetypeid=2&articleid=29088&subsectionid=779) on using it. To ease any worries I downloaded the PDF (rt clk/Save Target As...), uploaded to Jotti's (http://virusscan.jotti.org/) (clean), then viewed on my system. Not a true factory manual, but should contain enough information to provide success. See I'm wading the same water's as yourself so any and all information is helpful. I think you'll find Radified's guide (http://fdisk.radified.com/) to formatting cover's nicely some essential principle's in understanding the terminology involved (regardless fdisk remaining the focus).

Sure hope something here is useful for you Tiara. ;)

I would recommend Acronis for patitionating. Or when you're more advanced user, GNUparted will do the job too.

What about www.pricelesswarehome.org look under System Utilities
for Ranish Partition Manager - the people at ACF recommend it each year,
and it will do what you need.

Many thanks for your suggestions. My friend (neighbour) has partitioned my drive for me using partition magic. The hey to doing it is applying each task seperately (I was applying 3 tasks together). Thank you all.

Good! 8) Happy to hear it Tiara. Little easier after seeing someone do it correctly the first time. :D
