I was looking at the post "help this cant be good" as I had just put the final version of TDS-3 on and then had the same problem it describes.

I read through the post and fixed all but the following files:

15:59:12 [CRC32] File doesn't exist: C:\WINDOWS\System\cmd.exe
15:59:13 [CRC32] File doesn't exist: C:\WINDOWS\System\drwtsn32.exe
15:59:13 [CRC32] File doesn't exist: C:\WINDOWS\System\sysedit.exe
15:59:14 [CRC32] File doesn't exist: C:\WINDOWS\System\taskmgr.exe
15:59:14 [CRC32] File doesn't exist: C:\WINDOWS\System\winlogon.exe
15:59:15 [CRC32] File doesn't exist: C:\WINDOWS\System\regedt32.exe
15:59:16 [CRC32] File doesn't exist: C:\WINDOWS\System\netmsg.dll

I cannot find these files and was wondering if it is because I have Windows ME. If this is the case can I just delete the above from the file crcfiles.txt so it stops showing this each time?

Thanks
Logan

Hi Logan5,

Yes you are exactly right. The entries provided by default are for example only, you can either tailor the settings to match your own system or de-select the CRC test from your TDS startup configuration, whichever you feel to be more appropriate.

Regards,

Dan
