Two questions for f-Secure users

Been thinking of trialing f-secure so I did some Googling around for info on this program. Is it true that f-Secure does not scan email, and that it relys upon ActiveX? Thank you.

It isn't true. FSIS 2006 catches a lot virus from my pop3 mail.

F-Secure does scan mail (both POP3 and IMAP) and does not rely on ActivX :)
