Hi Tomm,
Good news ! I use DLL Compare often not just for comparing DLL's but also EXE's.
I couldn't find Option^Explicit Softwares site ? but managed to track down two sites that still have the DL's available, as i tried first to see for you.
Winsockxpfix http://www.softpedia.com/get/Tweak/Network-Tweak/WinSockFix.shtml
DLL Compare http://www.cybertechhelp.com/download/file/dll-compare
Hope they work

One other goodie from Option^Explicit, which I use, is their OK Hosts File Reader, and I haven't a clue where I first got it. I was surprised to find that there's no Help for it, and "About" gives only an email addy. So I assume they leave distribution (and for that matter, news/publicity) totally in the hands of third-parties.
Too bad, because I'm darned if I can figure out any way to check whether there's any updated versions.
