View Full Version : "Current status" bar getting "stuck".

Hi,

This isn't a gripe, I would just like to know if it happens to anyone else.

When I use TI9 to create a backup (over the network), and have TI9 also validate the archive after it finishes backing it up (again, back across the network), the "current status" progress bar sort of gets stuck along the way to 100%. e.g: the "total status" progress bar will finish, but the "current status" progress bar is stuck back on, say, 75% finished. As far as I can tell, it only does this in the validation stage.

Does anyone else have this minor issue?

Thanks,
Craig.

Hello Craig,

Thank you for choosing Acronis Disk Backup Software (http://www.acronis.com/homecomputing/products/trueimage/).

Please accept my apologies for the delay with the response.

Please be aware that we have already received similar requests from other Acronis customers. However, our Testing Team was unable to reproduce this problem.

First of all, please make sure that you use the latest build (2323) of Acronis True Image 9.0 which is available at: http://www.acronis.com/homecomputing/support/updates/

To get access to updates you should create an account at:
http://www.acronis.com/homecomputing/my/
then log in and use your serial number to register your software.

Please uninstall any previously installed build prior to installing build 2323.

Please create new Bootable Rescue CD after installing the update, boot your PC from this CD and see if the problem still persists.

If the problem still persists with Bootable Rescue CD created using the latest build (2323) of Acronis True Image 9.0 then please collect the following information:

- Create Acronis Report and Linux system information (sysinfo.txt) as it is described in Acronis Help Post (http://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=55317);

- Where do you store your images?

- Describe actions taken before the problem appears step-by-step.

Please submit a request for technical support (http://www.acronis.com/homecomputing/my/support/) with the subject indicating that you want to contact Alexey Popov. Attach all the collected files and information to your request along with the step-by-step description of the actions taken before the problem appears and the link to this thread. I'll forward this information to our Testing Team and they will certainly try to find out the reason for this problem.

Thank you.

I have the same problem intermittently with TI8 so it's not a new bug in TI9.
