Hello all..I have acronis 9...I recently installed a beta version of Vista for review. I installed it on a partitoned hard drive..C main..D and others.
I had a hardware problem today.. and just restored my image like always if I have a question about why something is do what..anyway...the image that I restored was did not have the Vista boot info on it..so when I restored...that information wasnt there and now the partition that it was installed on is missing..it is not showing up with the recovery console in xp...cant see the drive at all..i can see the files and they show up in checkdisk as hidden,,
How can I ..if I can ..restore that partition...any help would be great because I cant quite seem to figure anything out or get any help the provides the disired result..Thanks to all in advance

Hello sell2ucheap,

Thank you for choosing Acronis Disk Backup Software (http://www.acronis.com/homecomputing/products/trueimage/).

Please accept my apologies for the delay with the response.

Could you please provide us with the more detailed information on the problem?

- What version and build number of Acronis True Image you use?

- What kind of "hardware problem" have you encountered?

- Have you restored the image of the entire hard drive or system partition only?

- What exactly happens when you try to boot into Windows?

- Do you receive any error messages while trying to boot into Windows?

- What exact error messages you receive?

- Describe actions taken before the problem appears step-by-step.

Thank you.
