Hi,
Just thought you should know.

There is a nice easy way to convert a Dynamic disk to a Basic Disk without losing any data in XP (only tested in XP, I am sure it would work in 2K and 2K3).

In Computer Management/Disk Management, convert the Dynamic drive to a Basic drive, BUT DON'T DO ANYTHING ELSE.

Reboot.
Go into Acronis DD, Select RECOVER A PARTITION, and hey presto.

Good luck - and just thought I should share the good news with you .
Best of luck Acronis.
