banner ads remover

what do you guys use to stop banner ads, can anyone please recommend me a good software for that

i have firefox, so i just use adblock plus. if use oupost firewall or zonealarm, u can use its built in ad blocker, and if u need a standalone program, try ad muncher.

Yes, Admuncher is great. It works for all browsers, email and IM's.

I use Adblock Plus along with the filter from this site (http://www.excessive-software.eu.tt).
Works quite well in Firefox ;D

the problem is i just dont like firefox, i just love IE and now wiht Admuncher i love it more

Well if you love IE, I bet you'll love Maxthon (http://www.maxthon.com) even more (which basically is IE just with alot more features) ;)
