Hi you all,

my brothers & myself have recently installed a trial version of System Mechanic Pro 6. A nice piece of software for Pc maintenance.

Now; after a deep scan with Nod I found no problems on my Pc as of today whereas one of my brothers found trojan downloaders through KAV...??? :( (see pic attached)

Who's wrong who's right ??

Could anybody help us to understand....

Cheers + thanks

Tony

I´ve scanned with Kaspersky the System Mechanic folder, and KAV found no trojan.

NOD32 will catch it when you try to install or if you're doing an on-demand scan.

If you downloaded the app from a reliable source and not by P2P, chances are it's a false positive. Report it to Kaspersky.

You can also submit the offending file here and have it scanned by multiple AVs

I'd say those are backup files that were cleaned by Garbage Files Cleaner (probably leftovers from temp folder or browser cache).
System Mechanic backups all cleaned data through their SafetNet.
Judging by the filepath of detected files i'd say this is it.
