It looks like it adds it's own code to md5 signatures. Has anyone tried it yet?

I have not used Sygate, but indeed it is possible.

(info based upon document from Joseph):
Fundamentally, all hash algorithms work by applying a mathematical computation to a binary array representing the file. Obviously, it is equally simple for example to prefix or postfix any (or any combination of) the following information to the file itself:
the filename (with or without the file extension),
(or alternatively) the fully-qualified pathname of the file
the File Version information (internally from the file itself, for executable files)
the File Size (in bytes)

I am trying it out and it blocks "Tooleaky". I haven't tried to set any advanced rules yet, as I'm still new to setting up rulesets. But I'll use some examples I've been reading in security forums. It allows you to set advanced rules that take precidence. When first installed it searches and marks applications and sets them all to "ask" for access. The pro version seems to be the most feature laden firewall { not including add blocking etc.} that I've seen. I'm impressed so far, but I'll be interested in what the pro's have to say about it.
