x64 Beta and RegTest problems

Hi
I have severe problems with the x64 Beta and the RegTest app. It manages to change everything except the first line. It reboots and tells me to get a decent reg prot prog ???

Running RegDefend and AppDefend with default settings and enabled.


Any comments?

Hi Lasse,

The problem is the 32bit registry keys are not protected in the current beta of RegDefend x64. When Regtest (a 32bit program) modifies the 32bit registry autostart keys, RegDefend x64 does not see it because it wasn't told to monitor them. This will be fixed before the final release.

Alternatively you could add them manually, look for :-

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run

As your starting point of these 32bit entries.
