I have two disks: first is for Windows XP only, second has Mepis, Xandros and PC-BSD (plus one swap file) in different partitions.
Every time I reboot (from whichever OS), *and* every time I simply start OS Selector from within Windows, an additional generic "Linux" option appears is the boot menu. I can delete it but it will reappear again. If I don't delete it, then an additional boot item will appear labeled "Linux(2)". Then "Linux(3)" etc.
How can I get OS Selector to stop looking for additional OS's?
