Multiple Threads

Have an evaluation copy of Wormguard and have found whenever it is activated after downloading a file, it gets caught in a non-stop operation, Process Guard will list 12 or more simultaneous threads. I have to delete the file to stop Wormguard.

Why is it doing this? How to remediy the problem?
