Desktop file with "~" as only title

Periodically I have a file that shows up on the desktop identified only as the symbol "~" I delete it and then after random time frames it pops up again.

Is this a security issue. I have passed the file past virus and it comes up negative. reading the file with Notepad shows uninteligible characters for the most part but also some e-mail adresses from my address book.

Any information would be appreciated.

This is caused by a bug in Outlook Express 6 SP1 on Windows XP. It occurs when you add someone to your address book.

Nothing to worry about - you can safely delete it. :)
