I have spent many hours trying to get this to work.

I am using TI9 Build 2302 and would appreciate any pointers.

I can create a Security Zone on the non-boot SATA drive connected to SiL3114r but can't activate.

"Error - The hard disk you have selected is not available when booting your PC and you will be able to restore data from Acronis Secure Zone located on this drive only from Windows"

Running Windows XP SP2++ and SiL3114r driver v1.0.0.7

This is the same error message you get if you attempt to active the Startup Recovery Manager (SRM) for a Secure Zone that's been created on a removable drive. You should be able to ignore the error message by clicking "OK" and proceed with activating the SRM.

When done, boot into the Linux based rescue environtment via the SRM (press F11 whilst booting). With a bit of luck, TI will successfully detect the SATA drive in question.
