I get this all the time went an App needs Access to Memory! And it hangs for a minute and and I canot move my Mouse to click the button!!
Just to add some more info: When I try to launch Ewido it also fads the GUI and locks up my system!! Until I can get my Cursor over it and click Allow Always!

Hi Triple Helix,
When you say "access to memory" do you mean physical memory? I'm not quite sure what you are trying to say in regards to the fading of the GUI?

Just see the picture above it goes transparent and locks up!! And yes I did mean physical memory just the one time when I started Ewido!! I will try to make it do it again and post back!!

Here is one page! It took me 4 min to get my cursor over The Allow button! And when I click off screen that makes it transparent!!

I had the same thing happen when I first started the game Massive Assault. AD warning popped up asking for physical memory access and the cursor became uncontrollable. Getting the courser over the allow button was like trying to put a key in a lock while someone trys to pull your hand away. I don't recall that happening with IE when it wanted physical access the first time.
Nice job by the way Jason. I was thinking Kaspersky, PG and RD but now I my just run Kaspersky (KIS) and your suite. Tough decision when you have licenses for all of those on top of Prevx and Outpost.:D

Same with Powerpoint!! Just locks up untill I can get to Allow Always. It seems to be when any program wants access to physical memory!
HTH Jason!

Daniel

Hi Daniel,
I will disable background fading for the next version just to see if this is causing any issues.

I should of been more clear about my OP fading was the result when a program wants access to physical memory and then the lock up is more of the Issue than fading!!
It's just like now when I just started a game!! It took me 4 to 5 min to take this snapshot!!
Cheers,
