cd/DVD drive

I bout True Image * about an hour ago. I have a Dell inspiron 9300 laptop with a combo CD/DVD burner drive. i put my DVD in the drive but TI keeps rejecting it, asking me to insert a CD. I have tried several DVD's. Any way I can get TI to backup to my DVD drive?

DVDs have to be prepared first for packet writing. That being said, using TI to backup to DVDs is too much of a "hit and miss". It works for some and not for others. You will have more success if you get an external usb hard drive to save the backups.

As well as reading the Acronis True Image 9.0 User's Guide, check out <Acronis True Image Online FAQ #27> (http://www.acronis.com/homecomputing/products/trueimage/faq.html#27). If, after that, you then still can't succeed please post back here with more details of the problem.
