Scans and safe mode

Should all anti-virus/anti-trojan scans be done in safe mode or is it fine just to do them in the normal OS?

its ok to do scan in normal mode but sometimes when your pc have been infected then scan in safe mode will give better result because in safe mode most malwares arent loaded in memory.
