Hello,

I'm a registered NOD32 user who's license has run out.

I like NOD32 so I though I would renew my license.

NOD32.COM site shows the License Renewals as $27.30 (USD).

However, I live in Scandinavia and I am directed to Eurosecure.com, which only lists:

NOD32 / One user / One year license: $39 (USD)

Do I really have to pay more than $10 extra because I live in Scandinavia? Even with the local 22% VAT the price should only be $33.

Why such a high price difference and no license renewal option for Scandinavian customers?

puzzled,
Halcyon

The online shop at eurosecure.com is fully automated, and doesn't handle renewals at the moment.

"Contact us for more information regarding renewal discounts." is stated on the website.

If you purchased the license offline from us or one of our resellers, or directly from Eset, we have to manually verify that you are entitled to receive the renewal discount. We will add automated renewal processing too in the future, however, that will most likely only work for purchases made at our online shop. If the "original license" was purchased from somewhere else, it will still require some manual processing, but we will probably add a request form or something like that.

Please send an e-mail to sales @ eurosecure.com referring to this thread, or just a "general" renewal request.. Please include your current NOD32 username in the e-mail.

Best regards,
Anders

Maybe they did send me a notice. My e-mail address has changed since though and the old one is no longer active. So I can't be sure if I was sent one or not.

They have ;). Have a look at the on line FAQ, and make sure you'll provide Eset with your new email address.
