Recently having many probs with ZoneAlarm Pro version:6.0.667.000
TrueVector version:6.0.667.000
Driver version:6.0.667.000
Anti-spyware engine version:4.0.9.21
Anti-spyware signature DAT file version:01.200511.173

I have uninstalled / reinstalled on numerous occasion with the same probs recurring in the long run.
Several programs appear as corrupt and under the entry detail the majority appear as follows:
Product name: missing
FIle name: corrupt
Last Policy update: missing
Os Firewall: (varies)
Version: missing
Last modified date: invalid date
File size: 0 kb
Hopefully what I have just stated is understood. The details are different in each case but in case concerning corruption the product name is missing and the file name is corrupt, the file size is always 0.
If at all possible can anyone tell me how to delete or remove these entries safely .
This has only recently started to occur.
Perhaps someone can also help me in identifying two entries which I am very concerned about. The first is dgserial.exe and the other is lz3ledlg.exe
I often get asked whether to allow or not and the fact that I don't recognize which programs utilize these files I deny at times and allow other times.
Were I to know which programs which use them I could make a better decision concerning the programs in question.

Thanks for your help

Have you done a search on your system to locate the files/directory and check the properties for more information on them? Have you done a full scan of your system for potential malware? This post may help: General Cleaning Instructions (http://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=50662).

We no longer do HJT logs here ( Stopping HijackThis Log Cleaning Services! (http://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=42148) ), so it would have to posted at one of the other forums noted.

Did you search for and find those files (.exe's) you were concerned about? Any more details on them from their location/properties?

If you go to the ZoneAlarm forums (http://forums.zonelabs.com/zonelabs) and search for corrupt database you will get several posts. Some mention a registry change that may help.

When you did the uninstall, did you remove all remaining ZA folders and files before reinstalling?
