Like Personal firewalls, trojan blockers, virus scanners.

I like Admuncher, but as it intercepts all http connections, it masks any apps connection via any software firewall, eg if your running this app and get a virus/trojan and it connects via http your not safe.

I was wondering if there is anyone has done any tests with adblockers and firewalls for security, compatibilty and integration.

It would be nice if my virus scanner, adblocker and personal firewall could talk to each other to help security, but I am also wary of all in one tools that are masters of none.

I've been fiddling with admunchers loopback and bind to network options, and I dont know if its the configuration of my machine, but both settings behave the same to Kerio 2.15 as far as internet connections go.

On the other hand as you have seen it sucks to have each of them trip each other up. Takes a lot of testing and know how to know for sure how they are interacting.
