View Full Version : False positive

After downloading and installing the latest protection update to Javacool SpywareBlaster, Acronis Privacy Expert reports finding spyware as follows:-

'All in one Keylogger/BeyondKeylogger'

If I allow Privaxy Expert to remove the 'spyware' and do another scan then it is no longer reported as present. But then if I enable the SpywareBlaster protections and do another scan then Privacy Expert again reports finding the above mentioned 'spyware'.

Can anyone else confirm my findings.

This must be a false positive.

I am using the latest build and spyware definitions.

Hello pjb024,

I was able to reproduce the problem. This issue has been forwarded to our Development Team. We will let you know the results of their investigation as soon as possible. As this can take a few days, we apologize in advance for any delay with response.

Most probably this is a compatibility issue between two anti-spyware programs since in most cases they use the same methods as spyware.

Thank you.

I have the same problem, and I have allowed Acronis to clean the entry. Hope I didn't screw anything up.
