Hi,

When I configured FileChecker to run as a service (checksum is on):

Window Installer box will appear while Windows is loading ???
FileChecker is listed in MSCONFIG>Services tab :) but not listed in Task manager's Processes or Application tab. Is that normal?

If I configured FileChecker to run as a service (checksum is off), result is same as above (window installer box appear) ???

If I configure FileChecker not to run as a service, all is well but I have to manually launch FileChecker :(

If I added a shortcut of FileChecker in Windows Startup folder, all is well also - no Windows installer box :)

Questions:
1. Why "Window Installer" appears if FileChecker is registered as a service?
2. How to disable splash screen of FileChecker

FileChecker is installed together with all Javacool software (6) + WMP Scripting Fix enabled in WinXP Pro (SP1a)

Thanks in advance.
